Go Auto Red Deer is looking for an energetic, goal-oriented Driver for its expanding Parts department in Red Deer.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver parts as required to various locations
- Assist in retrieving, loading, and unloading parts from parts van
- Provide assistance to customers and staff when requested
- Receive and record the movement of parts and stock to and from particular locations
- Other ad hoc duties as they arise
Requirements:
- Automotive industry experience or passion preferred

- Address and resolve basic and complex incident and requests; enter quality information into tickets and appropriately capture data; complete follow-up and follow-through on all tickets.
- Manages all incident and request to ensure that work is completed to the customers’ satisfaction.
- Build strong relationships within Go Auto by working across organizational boundaries to resolve customer incidents and requests.
- Contributes to self-help knowledge bases and documents typical requests and incidents, resolutions and work around procedures.
- Identifies, evaluates, promotes and implements customer support best practices.
- Mentors, supports, and cross-trains other service desk and desk side analysts.
- Grows deeper knowledge of current corporate products, increasing ability to resolve tickets on first contact.

As an Information Technology Support Analyst, you’ll bring:
- An excellent telephone manner is required together with the ability to handle challenging support situations with a calm and methodical approach
- Understanding of Active Directory: creating accounts, group policy and group management.
- Ability to create new and manage email accounts in Office 365.
- Ability to effectively balance high volume of productivity demands against ability to provide analytical troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Ability to troubleshoot in a high level systematic way. Ability to identify symptoms and research cause.
- Understanding of basic Networking principals, including network troubleshooting for connectivity issues, DHCP, DNS, use of tools like PING, NSLOOKUP and NETSTAT.
- Must hold or in next 6 months obtain a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: Windows 10 or Office 365
- Strong team player, excellent communication skills, excellent organizational skills, self-motivated / drive, flexible.
- Good interpersonal skills for written, oral and face to face communications, both within technology and the business. We place a lot of value on being personable and happy to help.
- Must have at least 2 years’ relevant experience in a Service Desk / Help Desk / Desk Side Environment.
- Desirable to have previous experience working with CDK Global or have worked in the Automotive Retail Industry.

Recreation Vehicle Service Technician
Recreation vehicle service technicians install, repair and maintain interior and exterior components on motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheel trailers, truck campers, tent trailers and van conversions.
Duties may include:
- installation of accessories,
- performing pre-delivery inspections,
- writing repair estimates and reading and writing repair orders,
- troubleshooting, repair and maintenance on propane gas and electric appliances such as furnaces, refrigerators, water heaters, ranges and air conditioners,
- repairs to fiberglass, body and structural components, and
- the ability to install, repair, replace and maintain roofs, siding, windows, doors, vents, awnings, floor coverings, cabinets, counters, plumbing systems, electrical systems, propane gas systems, batteries and charging systems.
While they do not repair engines or drive train components of motorized vehicles, they may install trailer and fifth wheel hitches, wire tow vehicles and perform maintenance and repairs on trailer frames, undercarriage and suspension.
In general, recreation vehicle service technicians:
- examine, troubleshoot and diagnose units needing repairs and/or maintenance,
- use testing equipment, troubleshooting techniques, manufacturers' specifications, and Internet websites to assist at locating faults and performing repairs,
- use manuals, catalogues and Internet websites to order repair parts and components,
- use computerized and electronic devices for testing components,
- communicate with supervisors, manufacturers and consumers to ensure timely, efficient and economical repairs, and
- dismantle faulty assemblies, repair or replace worn and damaged parts.
Working Conditions What we offer:
Recreation vehicle service technicians enjoy a high level of job security and usually work in indoor shops and occasionally work outdoors and at RV sites. Most work a 40-hour, five-day week. However, some evening, weekend or holiday work may be required, particularly during the busy summer months. The work is most rewarding for those who enjoy a relatively clean, safe work environment that is not generally physically demanding.
