     Go Auto is on the hunt for a Payroll Administrator for its growing team!

     

    We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll Department! The successful candidate will be a hardworking, detailed orientated, self-motivated multi-task extraordinaire looking for a new challenge!  This is an excellent opportunity for new industry professionals to grow with a growing company!

      

    Full Cycle payroll including but not limited to the following:

      • Responsible for preparing, processing and reviewing semi-monthly for salary, hourly and commission payrolls for assigned payroll entities
      • Setup new hires in the payroll system, process rate changes as required as well as maintain accurate employee information in payroll and internal accounting system
      • Process terminations, calculate final pay, pay in lieu and complete ROE’s.
      • Entering of data according to specified procedures: Data entry of payroll adjustments, such as, reimbursements and additional expenses in payroll system
      • Issuing Employment Verification Letters
      • Set up garnishment deductions and issue cheques for the remittance
      • Manage and setup eligible employees for benefits in payroll system and benefit supplier system and verify eligible employees are setup correctly and update earnings as required in the benefit supplier system
      • Benefits –Explaining and handling benefits with regards to the employees
      • Reconciling payroll accounts such as benefits, WCB and CRAManage WCB, STD and LTD disability claims and co-ordinate GRTW with the disability case manager and the employee’s supervisor
      • Performing clerical duties such as, but not limited to, filing and record systems
      • T4’s and reconciling yearend
      • Other duties as assigned

     

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Payroll accounts reconciliation experience or accounting experience required
    • Procedure oriented
    • Able to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
    • Must be well organized, have a strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
    • Excellent communication, organizational & interpersonal skills
    • Team player, friendly and have a professional attitude
    • Must be comfortable in a computer-based environment
    • Must be flexible and open to change
    •  

    Education and Experience:

    • PCP Designation
    • 3 - 5 years’ experience in a payroll administration position or related experience is considered an asset
    • ADP WFN payroll experience an asset
    • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook programs
    • Must have excellent knowledge of Alberta, BC, Ontario and NWT employment standards
