Sales BDC Specialist — Macleod Trail Toyota | Calgary, AB

If you want to understand how a dealership really operates, this is the role.

 

The Sales BDC team is the communication hub of the dealership. You are connected to sales, service, management, internet leads, incoming calls, appointments, follow-up, and customer experience. Nothing moves without strong BDC people behind it.

 

At Macleod Trail Toyota, this is not some tiny desk in the corner answering phones all day. This is a fast-moving, high-impact role inside one of the busiest Toyota stores in the market:

  • 200–230 new vehicles sold monthly
  • 80–100 used vehicles sold monthly
  • Approximately 130 service appointments per day

That kind of volume creates opportunity.

 

A huge number of successful people in automotive started in BDC because it teaches you the foundation of the business:

  • How dealerships operate
  • How to communicate with customers properly
  • How to manage leads and appointments
  • How sales processes actually work
  • How to build relationships with managers, advisors, and sales teams

You’ll be:

  • Handling inbound and outbound customer communication
  • Following up with internet and sales leads
  • Booking appointments for the sales team
  • Updating CRM notes and follow-up tasks
  • Working closely with Product Advisors and Sales Managers
  • Helping create a smooth customer experience from first contact forward

Experience in automotive or customer service is an asset, but attitude, work ethic, and coachability matter just as much.
