Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
 
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimize our transportation operations.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and schedule vehicle pick-ups and deliveries with transport companies and internal departments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with transport vendors, negotiating service agreements and rates
  • Ensure all transport providers meet regulatory and safety requirements, including insurance and licensing standards
  • Resolve delivery delays, damage claims, and other transport-related issues
  • Analyze transport costs and negotiate rates to maximize cost-efficiency
  • Track and assess vendor performance metrics, including delivery times and service quality
  • Verify and process transport invoices for accuracy and ensure timely payment to vendors
  • Generate reports on transport activity, costs, and performance trends for management review
  • Communicate with dealership teams to ensure transport aligns with inventory needs and timelines
  • Work with transport providers to identify and implement efficient routes for vehicle delivery
  • Utilize software tools like Smart Sheet, GPS tracking, or transport management systems to enhance operational efficiency
